In the dynamic landscape of South African entertainment, Lungelo Mpangase stands out as a multifaceted personality, making waves as a model, influencer, and actress. Born on September 26, 1995, this rising star has left an indelible mark on the industry, captivating audiences with her talent and charm.

A familiar face to television viewers, Lungelo has graced the screens of well-known shows and productions, including the popular series "eHostela," where she portrayed the determined Khethiwe. Her prowess in acting further flourished in the Mzansi Magic series "Mzali Wam," where she embodied the character of Ntokozo, a high school student entangled in a gripping human trafficking storyline.


Adding another feather to her cap, Mpangase currently captivates audiences as Poppy Tshabalala in the Mzansi Magic telenovela "Lingashoni." Her portrayal of Poppy, Puleng's sister, delves into complex familial dynamics, highlighting the clash between financial aspirations and matters of the heart.

Mpangase's journey in entertainment began in 2017 with a lead role in the Mzansi Magic drama series "eHostela," portraying a young woman aspiring to become a maskandi star. Her talent shone brightly in the Mzansi Original Movie "Themba Lam," exploring the complexities of sponsorship and its unexpected consequences.

In 2020, Lungelo took on the challenging role of Ntokozo in the Mzansi Magic drama series "Mzali Wam," earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Simon Mabhunu Sabela Film and Television Awards.

In November 2021, Lungelo celebrated a personal milestone with the purchase of a Mercedes Benz car worth R1 million, sharing her joy and snapshots on social media. However, her journey hasn't been without adversity, as she faced a reported physical attack on the set of a movie in Vosloorus in May 2021.
