In a scathing critique of Kaizer Chiefs' recent performance, former winger Junior Khanye has not held back in expressing his dissatisfaction with the team's current dynamics, particularly singling out Jassond Gonzalez as the "worst signing" in the history of the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Speaking candidly on IDiski TV, Khanye minced no words, asserting, "I mean bringing in Gonzalez, I think he is coming on for his ninth or 10 games doing nothing, no energy." His analysis delved into the player's perceived shortcomings, emphasizing a lack of contribution and a questionable understanding of the game.

Khanye pointedly questioned Gonzalez's strengths, stating, "They will pass him the ball and he will shield, shield, and they take the ball from him while he’s a strong guy being challenged by a shorter player. He can’t protect the ball, and he is tall. He can’t even find his teammates." The former Chiefs player highlighted specific instances where Gonzalez's presence on the field appeared ineffective, especially in crucial game situations.

As Khanye dissected the coach's decisions, he attributed potential game mismanagement to the questionable substitutions made during the second half. He suggested that if Polokwane City had more astute players, they could have capitalized on the situation, potentially altering the outcome of the game.

In concluding his critique, Khanye did not mince his words, boldly asserting, "He is proving to be one of the worst signings in the history of our league, if not the worst." The assessment adds fuel to the ongoing discussions surrounding Kaizer Chiefs' performance and player selections, sparking debates among fans and analysts alike.
