In a strategic move, Kaizer Chiefs is contemplating the extension of Keagan Dolly's contract, introducing a challenging twist for the talented midfielder. Since his arrival in 2021 from Montpellier, expectations surrounding Dolly at Naturena remain unmet.

Despite persistent injury setbacks, Dolly's on-field performance has lacked the anticipated spark. With a meager 14 goals and 11 assists in 64 appearances, the player now faces a pivotal juncture, with reports suggesting that a contract extension might hinge on accepting a reduced salary, as disclosed by SoccerLaduma.

According to the Soccer Laduma report, "Keagan Dolly may have to choose between taking a pay cut and leaving Kaizer Chiefs with discussions over a new deal expected to commence, the Siya crew has been informed."

Coach Johnson, reflecting on the team's potential, emphasized the importance of improved analysis and more opportunities for players. "If you did come to Kaizer Chiefs as an average player, then we will make you a better player," he asserted, underlining the need for a deeper understanding of each player's capabilities.

As negotiations unfold, Dolly finds himself at a crossroads, compelled to make a strategic decision that could redefine his journey with Kaizer Chiefs. The unfolding contract saga adds an element of intrigue to the team's dynamics.
